Pastoral Care

Our teachers make the happiness, security and personal development of each child their overriding concern. We take care to get to know your child and their individual needs, strengths and desires. We are a happy school, not least because the staff care so much about each child, but also because the children know this.

Moor Park is a special place for children to develop within a caring, nurturing environment, having fun and playing in the beautiful grounds. It is a truly co-educational experience with boys and girls being encouraged to work and play together. We believe that each child has their own specific needs and we help children grow in confidence whilst discovering their own talents.

Moor Park is a Catholic school but all faiths are welcomed. The Christian values of respect, kindness and forgiveness are at the heart of our community and are intrinsic to the relationships that children form with each other and with their teachers. We are fortunate to have a talented and committed staff who challenge and inspire our children to reach high standards.

We believe that school should be an extension of home, with the same level of care and values. Above all, this is a kind school and we believe that this value should be central not just to school life, but to life in general. As a kind school, the children support each other in games and performances, are happy to celebrate the work and achievement of others and always look to help each other when help is needed.

Pupils leave Moor Park happy, confident and at ease with themselves, ready to make the most of the opportunities that their senior schools have to offer, but more importantly, ready to be good citizens in the wider world and enthusiasts for life!
