We aim to nurture independent thinkers and learners by developing a work ethic and study skills which will serve our pupils well at Senior School, in higher education and beyond, in the workplace. Today's children are tomorrow's employers and employees, in a world which will be yet more complex. They will need the tools and skill to research, acquire knowledge, reason and deduct. We aim to create independent learners and thinkers through a broad curriculum that concentrates on both work and play.
Small classes and a staff pupil ratio of 1:9 are essential for due attention to individual learning styles. Pupils are encouraged to strive for moderated ambition, for individual, personal goals whether they be academic, sporting or musical, trying to be the very best that they can.
