Tick Tock Nursery at Moor Park accommodates babies from 3 months to children of 4 years in three separate rooms. As an extension of Moor Park, it offers the same emphasis on care and happiness in warm, bright surroundings, located in one corner of our beautiful estate. When children reach the grand age of 3, they arrive at a junction: they may continue through ‘Tick Tock” or move across to the Lower School Nursery.
Tick Tock is open Monday to Friday, for 50 weeks of the year excluding Bank Holidays. We are open from 8.00am to 6.00pm
The nursery has 29 places for children, aged from 3 months to five years. There are three rooms depending on the age of the child. Each room has on display a routine of activities that the children do on a regular basis. The children will learn social skills as well as the skills they need to enter full time education. As qualified Nursery practitioners we encourage learning through play, not formal education. Daily activities include: painting; sand; water play; construction; imaginative play stories; singing; puzzles; shape sorting and outdoor play. We will work alongside parents; with the Early Years Foundation Stage programme to encourage your child’s independence in such areas as toilet times, meal times and sleep/rest times. We also take the children for walks around the large school grounds.
