| Holiday Club | 4th-29th August 2008 |
| Years 4 - 8 There wil be a holiday club at school for the weeks commencing 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th August. This will be run by ATE (Active Training and Education) which is a not-for-profit educational trust dedicated to making learning and personal growth both fun, and accessible to as many young people as possible. Children meet from all over the UK and some from other countries to enjoy a week of creative and imaginative fun, playing games, singing, exploring, learning how to make things and generally enjoying each others company in a safe and relaxed environment. The core philosophy of ATE is learning through group based activities and team work. Each child will be put into a group of 6 - 8 children under a Team Leader or 'Monitor' who will stay with them for all activities during the week. Activities included will range from scavenger hunts, cooking, craft, team challenges as well as a daily swim. There will also be a day trip away from school. The week will run from 9am to 6pm daily, except Thursdays when there will be an evening activity, which will finish at 9.00pm. The cost of the week will be £135. This will include all activities, refreshments and lunch. Reception to Year 3 This will be run in house by existing Moor Park staff. The actual activities will run from 9am to 4pm, but supervsion will be available from 8am to 6pm. The cost for a full week is £135, or £30 per day, which includes all activities, refreshments and lunch. If you are interested in finding out more, or would like to sign your child up for either club, please contact the school office. | |
