Exam Information, Revision Topics and Resources
English
Year 6 pupils will be sitting one paper in English. It will consist of a comprehension passage and one piece of extended writing. Pupils will be able to select their essay question from a choice of five: choices will include descriptive and discursive options. Considerable weight will be given topupils' spelling, punctuation and grammar.
Maths
Both sets will be sitting an ISEB 11+ paper.In addition, set 1 will be sitting an ISEB 12+ paper and set 2 will be sitting a paper containing selected questions based on topics covered.

French
Set 1Your speaking test will take place during the week after half-term. Revise in your speaking booklet (You can download one if you have lost it).
You will need to write a letter in which you introduce and describe yourself, say how old you are and when your birthday is, say where you live, talk about your family and pets, say what you like doing and what you did last week-end.
You can revise vocabulary using Worsheet Vocab 1 Livre 2 and Vocab 2 Livre 2 on the French page of the School website, use the latest to revise the perfect tense.
Set 2
Your speaking test will take place during the week after half-term. Revise in your speaking booklet (You can download one if you have lost it).
You will need to write a letter in which you introduce and describe yourself, say how old you are and when your birthday is, say where you live, talk about your family and pets, say what you like doing.
You can revise vocabulary using Worksheet Vocab 1 Livre 2 on the French page of the School website.

Latin
Set 1The paper will be a mixture of learning work and translation. If you can recite anything that you have been tested on, you should get at least 50%!
In particular, learn or know the following:
a) nouns on vocabulary sheet
b) verbs on vocabulary sheet
c) puella, servus, bellum nouns table
d) the 4 conjugations in the present tense: amo, moneo, rego, audio + sum
e) prepositions on vocabulary sheet
f) the adjective bonus
g) cardinal and ordinal numbers
Set 2
The paper will be a mixture of learning work and translation. If you can recite anything that you have been tested on, you should get at least 50%!
In particular, learn or know the following:
a) nouns on vocabulary sheet
b) verbs on vocabulary sheet that you have learned
c) puella subject and object table
d) the 1st and 2nd conjugation verbs amo and moneo
e) the irregular verb sum
f) the last question will ask you to write about any of the myths you have studied, or the gods and goddesses.
g) cardinal and ordinal numbers
Geography

The examination will be 45 mins and will test the following topics: The Battle of the Somme, Slavery and Castles (including Roger de Mortimer). There is an Optional section for those who wish to do a little bit more. Please see the History web site for further details.Religious Studies
The paper will only cover work we have done this year:World religions: Have a look at all those we covered: choose one to learn in more detail.
The kingdom of God: The parables associated with the kingdom and the kingdom values.
Easter: The events of Ash Wednesday, Lent and Holy Week.
Creation: Know the story of creation and Adam and Eve as told in Genesis.
