Extra-Curricular & Enrichment

At Moor Park we offer all kinds of extra-curricular activities designed to challenge and delight young minds and bodies. Quality and breadth are the key principles that underpin the extra-curricular programme at the school, offering pupils the chance to 'have a go', whilst reinforcing the 'work hard, play hard' attitude that our children have in abundance.

The aim of the activity programme is:

  • to uncover and nurture individual strengths.
  • to allow a child to shine outside of classroom success metrics.
  • to promote curiosity and introduce new techniques, skills and ideas.
  • to boost every child’s self esteem and confidence.
  • to offer a chance to develop and hone existing skills.

Activities provide an excellent opportunity for our pupils to interact with peers from other Year Groups, to get outdoors, be active, practice skills or do something calm and relaxing after a long day. They also offer an opportunity to engage with their teachers in a different context, contributing to the excellent relationship staff and children develop at Moor Park.

Junior Activities for Year 3 take place every day between 4.45 pm and 5.30 pm. Senior activities (Year 4 to Year 8) take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 5.30pm and 6.15 pm.
